Couldn't recommend Gesa enough! She made us feel at ease instantly and comfortable throughout the whole trip. She was so flexible, modified our schedule accordingly for our 3 year old daughter and gave us recommendations that fit our family perfectly avoiding crowds and tourist traps. Because of Gesa, we experienced the highlight of our time in New Zealand.

Dafür möchte ich mich bei Ihnen recht herzlich bedanken. Die Reise war fantastisch. Im Großen und Ganzen hat alles prima geklappt. Die gewählten Ausflüge und Unterkünfte waren toll. Ganz besonders möchte ich mich für die Tour Auckland von Beautiful Nature Tours Auckland am 18.2.2019 bedanken. Diese Tour war einfach nur der Hammer und wird für mich unvergesslich bleiben. Unsere Reiseleiterin Gesa Mitchell hat uns eine einmalige Naturlandschaft gezeigt und auf jede Frage eine Antwort gewusst. Zu dem hat es mich sehr angesprochen, dass diese Tour deutschsprachig war. Gesa hat uns nicht nur einmalige Natureindrücke vermittelt, sondern darüber hinaus auch die Kultur und Lebensweise ihrer Wahlheimat eindrucksvoll näher gebracht. Das war mit Sicherheit das Highlight der Reise. Die Eindrücke die ich dort vermittelt bekommen habe, werde ich mein ganzes Leben lang nicht mehr vergessen. Ich hätte gerne noch den ein oder anderen Ausflug mit Gesa gemacht.

Gesa is a wonderful guide and provided my wife and myself with a terrific tour experience today starting in Auckland at the cruise terminal and going from coast to coast. The sights were spectacular and Gesa provides really insightful narration along the way. We had lovely walks through the nature areas we visited and the changes in topography were astounding since we visited both the Tasman sea and Pacific Ocean coastlines and associated flora and fauna. I had a fabulous time. Thank you, Gesa! For three days we explored Aukland and its Western and Eastern coastline. Muriwai Beach, Matamata and Hobbiton, Roturua, Te Puia GeoThermal Valley, Tawharanui Regional Park, Parry Kauri Park, Puhoi Valley for a cheese tasting and a stop at a honey center to try delicious Manuka. Gesa loves her adopted city and certainly showed us why! We 6 adults had a wonderful tour of this beautiful city that even has a rain forest and woods in its boundaries. Its waters are amazing and we even climbed 15 minutes up to look over the whole of Aukland. She is very knowledgeable and pleasant and fun and everyone enjoyed her very much. Meine Gattin und ich hatten das Vergnügen, uns im Februar 2020 in kurzer Zeit viele wunderschöne Eindrücke von Gesa Mitchell vermitteln zu lassen. Grundsätzlich schätzen wir bei jeder Reise, egal wohin auf der Welt, die Vorteile einer individuellen deutschsprachigen Reiseleitung nur für uns allein, die unsere qualitativ sicherlich nicht geringen Ansprüche nach Möglichkeit erfüllen kann. Schon auf vielen Reisen konnten wir diesen „kleinen Luxus“ genießen.
Noch nie aber war das Gesamtpaket so perfekt wie bei Gesa Mitchell. Sie konnte alle unsere in sie gestreckten Erwartungen mehr als erfüllen. Schon im Vorfeld unserer Reise war Gesa Mitchell bei der Umsetzung unserer Anregungen bezüglich der Reiseplanung sehr kreativ. Sie ist auf alle unsere Wünsche sowohl bezüglich der einzelnen Reiseziele als auch der Qualität der Unterkünfte perfekt eingegangen.
Natürlich waren wir vor unserem persönlichen Kennenlernen am Tag unseres Startes in Auckland etwas nervös. Wir wussten zwar, dass wir gleich eine Person treffen werden, die vom bisherigen phonetischen und schriftlichen Austausch einen exzellenten Eindruck hinterlassen hatte, dennoch waren wir gespannt, ob auch dann auch tatsächlich „die Chemie“ zwischen uns stimmen würde. Als wir uns dann trafen, war es zwischen uns drei „Liebe auf den ersten Blick“.
Wir erlebten fortan eine acht Tage andauernde wahnsinnig spannende und informative Rundreise über die Nord- und Südinsel von Neuseeland. Die von Gesa Mitchell ausgewählten Reiseziele führten dazu, uns die Schönheiten von Neuseeland intensiv und immer informativ näherzubringen. Jeder Tag und jedes einzelne Ziel unterscheid sich wieder von dem vorherigen. Langeweile kam nie auf.
Was meine Gattin und ich besonders positiv bei Gesa Mitchell empfanden war, dass sie ein wunderbares Gefühl dafür hat, wann der sich ihr anvertraute Gast etwas Privatsphäre haben möchte, und wann er wieder, sei es für einen Dialog oder auch ein Zusammensein am jeweiligen Abend, bereit ist. Obwohl wir, auch bedingt durch längere Touren mit einem von Gesa Mitchell sehr komfortablen ausgewählten Fahrzeug, oft naturbedingt über längere Zeit beieinander waren, wurde es nie langweilig. Unsere Reiseleiterin hatte immer informative Dinge „über Land & Leute“ von Neuseeland zu berichten. Die von Gesa Mitchell ausgewählten Unterkünfte waren jede einzelne für sich sehr individuell und schön. Gesa Mitchell hinterließ bei uns den Eindruck, dass sie in der Lage sei, alle unterschiedlichen Wünsche bezüglich der Beschaffung von Unterkünfte, gleich welchen „Geldbeutels“, zu erfüllen.
Als Fazit wäre zu sagen: Wir haben eine Reiseleiterin für Neuseeland gesucht und eine Freundin fürs Leben gefunden. Bereits eine Stunde nach unserer Trennung am Flughafen von Christchurch nach unserem zuvor achttägigen Beisammensein verspürten wir Sehnsucht nach unserer dann „lieben Freundin Gesa“. Dieser Zustand hält bis heute an!

Waiheke Island Private Day Tour

She provides a first class experience handling all of the details for the visit to the island, and she is also very knowledgeable about the many sightseeing opportunities around Waiheke. Jan 26, 2023 we were promptly met by Gesa. On our 40 minute or so drive to the trail Gesa provided interesting commentary on all that we were seeing. The best part though was the incredible scenery that we saw as Gesa led us through the hills along the rugged coast of the Tasman Sea. Then after a short ride we were overlooking the Pacific Ocean on an excellent trail. Gesa knows the area well as she is an avid hiker! These hikes led by Gesa were the best part of our NZ vacation! We were so delighted to have spent the day with our guide Gesa, exploring the quaint villages of Waiheke Island and discovering several fantastic wineries, enjoying the peaceful, laid back atmosphere of the island, away from the bustle of Auckland. We could not have asked for a better day or a better guide. Gesa is full of grace, down to earth and so knowledgeable! Gesa is a delight! She picked us up from the airport and we discussed what we'd like to see. We had a delightful drive to Muriwai Regional Park as we were more interested in nature/outdoors than a city tour; she was happy to be flexible and tailor the tour to what we wanted to do. We saw some of the countryside, beaches, the Gannet colony, and had a very nice lunch outdoors at a restaurant on the way back into Auckland. Gesa is very personable, well-versed in the country; we highly recommend!
