Let's leave the crowds behind and experience New Zealand’s ever-changing scenery
8.00 - 8.30 am we are looking forward to picking you up from your CBD Hotel (or Ferry Wharf) or agreed meeting point and are already excited to take you on one of our favourite nature tours out of Auckland.
Leaving the City of Sails, on this private tour we take you along the Matakana Wine trail to Tāwharanui Regional Park, set on a remote Peninsula (75 Min). We will walk the North Coast Track to Tokatu Lookout and experience some of the Auckland region’s most beautiful white sand beaches, rolling pastures, native coastal forest and regenerating wetlands (about 2 hours).
Tāwharanui is New Zealand’s first open sanctuary integrating conservation, recreation and farming. Pest free habitat provides a safe home for threatened native wildlife…And who knows we might even spot some dolphins.
Around 1 pm you will get the opportunity to try different wines of the region at beautiful Brick Bay Vineyard (incl.) and might decide to have some lunch (lunch not included).
On our way back to Auckland we will stop at Parry Kauri Park where we will “meet New Zealand’s green giants”!
Arrive back in Auckland around 4.00pm
