I’ve just returned from an amazing three-day trip to the South Island, and I’m excited to share the highlights! Skiing at The Remarkables

We started the weekend on the slopes at The Remarkables. The friendly staff and fast chairlifts made for an excellent experience—especially with no queues! While the snow could have been deeper, the blue skies and sunshine made it a perfect ski day.

Luxury Stay in Arrowtown – Millbrook Resort

Our base for the weekend was Arrowtown, where we stayed at the beautiful Millbrook Resort. Once again, Millbrook impressed us with its luxury, comfort, and stunning alpine views. It’s an outstanding option for guests who appreciate world-class hospitality during their New Zealand private tours.

Hiking and Cycling Adventures

Arrowtown offers spectacular trails, and we enjoyed a few of its scenic hikes. On our final day, we switched gears for an epic cycling adventure along the Arrow River, through the Kawarau Gorge, and ending at the gorgeous Kinross Vineyard—the perfect spot for a glass of Central Otago wine before heading back to Auckland.
